Professional Writers of Austin (PWA) is a free, members-only networking group for professional and aspiring writers.

Develop a supportive and informative community for Austin’s writers, editors, and interactive content creators.

Goals

Provide opportunities for Austin’s journalistic, literary, and new media content-creating community to meet, share resources and job tips, improve career skills, and form lifelong bonds with like-minded people.

Members

We represent individuals from such industries as magazine, newspaper, book publishing, television, film, radio, online media, gaming, advertising, and public relations.

Founders
